Hanukkah celebrations were in full swing in Weston Tuesday night as families gathered for the annual Festival of Lights.
The event took place at one of the town's public menorah displays, located at 190 Weston Road.
Members of the community and neighbors were invited to celebrate the holiday with live music, traditional treats like menorah shaped cookies, dreidel games and other family-friendly fun.
Organizers say the celebration goes beyond the menorah lighting, serving as a reminder of the importance of remembrance, faith and passing traditions from one generation to the next.
In the wake of the terror attack in Australia, Weston police started patrols in the area earlier in the day and throughout the event.
