1h agoThe 16th annual Westchester Lustgarten Pancreatic Research Walk took place Sunday morning at Westchester Community College – with the overall goal of raising money for research.
Attendees and event organizers News 12 spoke with say this walk is not only about fostering a community, but to reach for a common goal – finding a cure for pancreatic cancer.
This year, the walk's goal was to raise $175,000. Event organizers say since the walk's inception, it has raised $5,000,000 toward pancreatic cancer research.
