Westchester County holds interfaith prayer vigil for Sept. 11 victims

Faith leaders from multiple different communities are gathering to honor the memory of those who died Sept. 11 and those who have passed away since from 9/11 related illnesses.

Westchester County is holding an interfaith prayer vigil to honor the memory of those who died in the Sept. 11 attacks and those who have passed away since from related illnesses.
Wednesday's vigil is taking place at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla.
Faith leaders from different communities are gathering. There will also be a candle lighting and a wreath-laying ceremony.
The county will also be holding its Sept. 11 Memorial Service on Thursday at 3 p.m.
