        Today, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point paid tribute at noon to former President Jimmy Carter with a cannon fire and 21-gun salute at Trophy Point.
        This solemn ceremony is part of the National Day of Mourning declared by President Joe Biden, who will deliver the eulogy at Carter's official state funeral at the Washington National Cathedral.
        As a mark of respect, all federal agencies will be closed today.
