Wayfair to open large-format store in Mercer County in 2027
Wayfair announced plans to open a new large-format retail store in Princeton in 2027, expanding the home goods retailer's physical presence in the Northeast.
The approximately 135,000-square-foot store will be located at Nassau Park Pavilion, a 760,000-square-foot shopping center along the Route 1 corridor owned and managed by Bridge33 Capital. The company said the location is intended to serve customers across New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
According to Wayfair, the store will offer furniture, décor, housewares, appliances and other home products, including a selection of Wayfair Verified items. Some merchandise will be available for same-day pickup, while larger items can be delivered through the company's logistics network. Free design services will also be available.
“Opening in Princeton represents another exciting milestone as we continue expanding Wayfair’s physical retail presence across America,” Liza Lefkowski, Wayfair’s vice president of merchandising and stores, said in a statement.
Carmen Decker, executive vice president of real estate operations and strategy at Bridge33 Capital, said the new store will bring an “immersive, large-format experience” to the shopping center.
The Princeton location is part of Wayfair’s broader expansion of its brick-and-mortar retail footprint across the United States.
