The Waverly Avenue Bridge in Mamaroneck has officially reopened after being closed since last December for renovations.
The bridge was shut down to allow crews to reduce the span and widen the channel, making it more resistant to flooding and safer overall.
The $5 million project aimed to improve the bridge's design and functionality.
The Waverly Avenue Bridge connects Waverly Avenue and Fenimore Road, providing a vital link for the local community.
