A water outage is impacting the Dix Hills area on Wednesday morning, according to the local fire department.

Fire officials say they are in contact with the water district and are addressing the issue.

They say contingency plans have been implemented to ensure sufficient water supply in the event of a fire.

Half Hollow Hills Central School District also announced that they will operate under a two-hour delay for remote learning.
