A water main break in Copiague affected more than 50 people.

The break happened on Oak Street, just off Great Neck Road.

Suffolk County Water Authority crews say the 12-inch water main broke around 8 a.m.

They say the water was fully restored around 3pm, with crews also now repairing the large hole left in the roadway.

The SCWA says that the roadway is expected to be repaired by midnight on Wednesday.
