Warnings issued today as police say snow igloos can collapse without notice

Brick Township police are warning parents not to let children build snow igloos following the blizzard.

Officials say the structures are not stable and can collapse without warning.

They also are concerned that igloos are sometimes built in areas where plows operate. They said that creates added danger for children playing in the snow.

Police advised families to keep kids clear of snow piles and areas where plows are still active.
