A massive fire broke out at a Co-Op City high rise apartment building early this morning.

Citizen app video from a resident watching from a distance shows bright orange flames bursting out of the windows of two floors, sending thick black smoke into the air at 100 Asche Loop.

This fire prompted a massive response to battle the flames. Dozens of fire trucks are seen on the street in front of the building.

News 12 reached out to the FDNY to get more details on the fire and if there are any injuries.
