Dramatic new video captures the moment East Hanover police officers swarmed and apprehend two shoplifting suspects who attempted to flee on foot following an incident at a local pharmacy.

The East Hanover Police Department praised the quick actions of its officers, calling the apprehensions "another great job" by the department.

The incident unfolded after police were called to the CVS on Route 10. According to authorities, the two suspects bolted from the store and ran off on foot into a nearby area in an attempt to evade arrest.

Video from the scene shows police cruisers quickly pulling up to intercept the fleeing suspects. Officers can be seen swarming the pair, bringing both individuals to the ground within seconds to secure the arrest.

Police have not yet released the identities of the two suspects or specified exactly what merchandise was stolen from the CVS during the incident.
