5h agoA deadly crash occurred Monday morning on I-80 in Wayne, Passaic County, according to state police.
Namon Melvin, 41, was driving a van that rear-ended a car near the exit.
The van then ran off the road, striking an embankment and a tree. Melvin succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
It is unclear if anyone else was injured in the crash. State police are investigating the incident.
