A teen was arrested at a Nassau County gas station following an investigation into the sale of illegal vape products.

Officers from the Fifth Precinct Problem Oriented Police Unit responded to the Valero located at 758 Franklin Avenue in Valley Stream around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Upon arrival, police say they discovered a large amount of flavored vapes, Kratom and assorted THC items on display.

Following the investigation, Valero employee, Amritpreet Singh, 18, of Elmont, was placed into custody.

Singh will face charges including sale of restricted products, sale of flavored products prohibited, criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th degree, unlicensed cannabis sale and disorderly premise when he is arraigned on Wednesday.
