Several people, including two police officers, were injured during a serious car crash Saturday morning in Yonkers.

Authorities say the officers were sitting in a marked patrol car on Yonkers Avenue when another vehicle struck them while making an illegal U-turn.

A taco truck and two empty vehicles were also hit during the accident.

The driver and two workers inside the truck were hospitalized along with the officers and are expected to be OK.

Police say the unidentified driver faces a slew of charges including driving with a suspended license and reckless driving.
