A unique and immersive public art installation is encouraging people to swing on over to downtown Stamford.

Mi Casa, Your Casa 2.0 is currently installed at Columbus Park.

People are encouraged to hop on its red swings and enjoy the park while they sway back and forth.

Stamford Downtown President Michael Moore says the goal is for people to interact with the art and connect with others. He says so far, the installation is a big hit with people of all ages and backgrounds.

"I love coming down here to see folks, to read books, to meet friends. Dare I say have a date night and include this as part of their date nights. This is family-friendly, it’s multi-generational friendly as well. “We see grandparents and parents bring their kids here," he says.

The swings will be on display until Sept. 7.
