FORECAST:
The weak storm to our south will slowly move north but stay well south of Connecticut Wednesday into Thursday. It will stay far offshore but comes close enough that we will see clouds and some scattered rain showers starting later tonight.
The winds will stay breezy and out of the east into Wednesday. Showers will be on and off, and temperatures will stay in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Rain totals will range from about 1/10 of an inch to up to 1/2 an inch over western Connecticut.
After the rain threat exits Thursday, temperatures will warm right back up. Expect to see a bit more of summer-like weather before the week is out. Cooler and drier conditions will settle in for next weekend.
