The owners of a Brooklyn-based company that provides jobsite safety training and certifications have been indicted for allegedly making and selling fake safety cards to construction workers, Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced Tuesday.

Officials say the workers who received those cards were never properly trained.

Prosecutors say Redcode Incorporated handed out site safety training cards and OSHA cards for $500 each.

They say that undercover officers posed as construction workers, which is how they discovered that Lutfur Rahman and Mohammed Tushar were allegedly involved in the plot.
