A head-on collision on Route 213 in Ulster County's Esopus town injured two people Thursday.
A Chevy Bolt traveling north crossed into the southbound lane, striking a First Student van head-on. The impact severely damaged the Chevy's side and tore off the van's front.
The Chevy's driver, a 57-year-old New Paltz man, and the van's driver, a 25-year-old Wallkill man, suffered minor injuries and were hospitalized.
Two other adults in the van were uninjured. Route 213 was shut down between Carney Road and William White Road for cleanup.
