The announcement came Tuesday and includes plans to add new landing guidance lights to assist pilots, repair and strengthen parts of the main runway, and extend it.
Earlier this week, the airport has revealed renderings of the new east terminal it hopes to build, marking a major step forward in its expansion plans.
