A major gun violence prevention summit in Westchester on Monday brought together some of the top voices in healing, intervention and reform - and featured the Turn To Tara team's "Under the Gun" investigation.
Beyond the Bullet was organized by the Youth Shelter Program of Westchester. The organization says the summit was designed to save lives by shifting the focus from politics to prevention.
The one-day conference in downtown White Plains brought together more than 300 youth advocates, educators, politicians, survivors and public safety experts - with the aim of stopping the cycle of gun violence and beginning a path toward healing.
