The fire happened around 2 p.m. Friday at the location on Kennedy Drive.
The driver of the truck says he was delivering water to the convenience store. He says he just parked the truck minutes before smoke started coming out of the front of it.
"I'm just a little shook up because it happened so fast. There was a little smoke at first and then it started getting bigger and bigger," says Ron Snell, who was driving the truck moments before the fire started.
Emergency crews at the scene say no one was hurt.
People working in nearby businesses say they were worried about the fire spreading.
"I was really panicked because the flames started coming out. I locked the door. Everyone was out. I called 911 also," says Guy Charles, who works nearby.
Emergency crews say they were able to get the fire out fairly quickly before it spread.
