A liquor store in South Plainfield was badly damaged after a truck crashed into the front of the building.

Photos sent to News 12 by a viewer show extensive damage to Witty's Discount Liquors on Plainfield Avenue.

The truck appeared to have crashed through the storefront, leaving debris scattered across the entrance.

It is unclear what caused the crash.

Authorities have not said whether anyone was injured.
