Two people are behind bars in Ulster County after a traffic stop led to drug and gun charges.
State police say it happened Monday morning on the Thruway in Plattekill. Troopers pulled over Jessiah Haynes, 25, and Ashley Guilder, 31, after learning Haynes had a suspended license.
K-9 Kell alerted troopers to narcotics during an exterior sniff of the vehicle. A search turned up about 149 grams of cocaine and a polymer semi-automatic ghost gun.
Guilder also had crack cocaine and more than 13 grams of Suboxone.
Both were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, and criminal possession of a firearm and weapon.
Haynes and Guilder were arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
