Police are searching for the three people they say are responsible for a
gunfire exchange that wounded a 16-year-old boy in Morrisania.
The shooting unfolded around 2:40 p.m. Sunday at East 173rd Street and Fulton Avenue, steps from the Crotona Park pool.
Police say the teen suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg. Paramedics took him to Saint Barnabas Hospital. He is expected to recover, according to authorities.
The NYPD released images of the three men wanted in the shooting.
One alleged shooter is pictured wearing a black shirt with a black face mask.
The second person is seen wearing a white shirt and black shorts and the third is seen dressed in a black shirt, black shorts, black sneakers and a black skull cap.
