1,700 customers in Bridgeport are without power following a reported transformer outage in Black Rock, according to the City of Bridgeport.

The outage was reported on Brewster Street.

The city says United Illuminating has been notified, and crews have been dispatched to the area.

Power is estimated to be restored by 1:30 p.m.
