A driver suffered a minor leg injury when a train hit their vehicle Wednesday in South Brunswick, according to police.

Authorities say it happened around 3 p.m. near Cranbury Road South River Road between Stults and Costco way.

The road was closed in the aftermath of the accident. However, officials say it has since been reopened.

The events leading up to the incident were not immediately clear.
