Construction began today on a major project to raise Annsville Circle six feet, addressing ongoing flooding concerns and hazardous conditions.

The project, undertaken by the Department of Transportation, is expected to last at least two years.

The DOT assures motorists that Annsville Circle will remain open during construction but anticipates delays. Businesses in the area will also remain open.
