I'm the snow miser this morning. These totals are phenomenal, not unheard of. It does happen in Sussex County and parts of Morris County. High point. You got the jackpot right there at 11 inches of snow. Highland lakes in Sussex County, 8.53 0.3 and wanted it's all elevation driven the lower elevations, lighter amounts, the highest elevations, hence high point at 11 inches. So you get the idea. Now, it's not just confined to Sussex County. We've had snow reports in Wayne through parts of Passaic County, uh, Morris County, we're looking at 1 to 3 inches of snow. The higher elevations could have a few more inches in this band of blue farther to the north and west Sussex County, 3 to 6 inches in the lower elevations, depending on where you are. But you go up to where Tony is. We're gonna get to him momentarily. He's got at least a foot of snow on the ground or right about that over 1000 ft between six and 12 inches of snow. Simply amazing. And for good reason, we do have winter weather advisories posted for Northwestern New Jersey. Uh Warren County, Morris County, Sussex County, northwestern portions of Passaic, West Milford, you got snow falling as well farther to the south and east. It's just a bit too warm and we knew this forecast would include the rain along the I 95 Corridor and that's what's going on with the radar. The storm, a classic setup comma shaped storm just to the north of northern New Jersey in the Catskills. And it's pivoting around a punch on the back end that is giving us moderate to heavy snow in the areas of darker blue. You could see right here coming down through portions of Sussex County, Warren County, Morris County and then we have lighter amounts of rainfall raw and down to the south. You're like John, there's nothing going on in central southern New Jersey. There isn't because the forecast kept you guys cloudy. You're in this dry slot and you're gonna be precipitation free for probably several hours to come. Here we go what you need to know accumulating what snow varying in intensity north and west and we're getting the daylight now. So the snow is gonna become wetter and it may turn to rain a little quicker on the southeastern bands of that. What we showed you earlier because of the temperature being above freezing, higher elevations, much uh uh more snow, less snow to lower elevations and rain along the coast. Tony. I know you're up there near high point by that gate. What is happening but is it still snowing there? And are you having any fun? I'm having a lot of fun. There's no doubt about that. So, yeah, they, they come in handy when you get snow like this. Well, what's your plan here where you have? So, I've kind of one of the crazy ones and kind of want to see how much more snow is up at the monument. So I'm gonna attempt to snowshoe up there. Is that normally the case you'll get a little more snow there than you did, especially in situations like this. It could be a few more inches. So there's something to do today. I think I want your job. I love this. I love the fact that you even have snow shoes and you're gonna trudge up there like this. You've done it before? Yeah, I've done it before. Um, sometimes I'll throw this cross country skis on but, uh, it's a little bit wet today. So, and folks are where you're going, right. They know you're going to be up there. You seem to be going up by yourself. Right. Yeah. Well, I told my wife nose that I'm going out and, and Nick Stefano, of course, I just told him that I, I'm heading out so I got you. Well, we don't want you winding up like Jack Nicholson, the end of the war as soon as I start moving. So. Well, do your thing. Let me get out of your way. We'll, uh, kind of follow you up there. Have a safe trip. Take it easy. He's gonna go up to the monument and see, uh, what kind of snow we're dealing with up there. I mean, I've been like kind of walking in the snow over here just to see how deep it will go as we watch Nick, uh, throw those shoes on and get ready to go and look. I mean, we're talking, I don't know, John. John was saying what? Maybe a foot, foot of snow up here. I mean, it's been fantastic and, you know, guys, you never know who you're gonna run into when you're in a situation like this. I mean, we have seen news, 12 fans just walking out of all of the snow this morning. It's been crazy. They have the hat on and they're ready to go. This is their kind of weather, that guy right there been hibernating right through the drought right into this snowstorm here at High point, Sussex County. We are having a good time in the snow.
