4 injured as fire rips through Norwood building
A four-alarm fire left four people injured early Thursday morning in Norwood.
Firefighters were called to 3435 Dekalb Ave. just before 5:50 a.m. Officials say the response was delayed due to two cars parked near fire hydrants.
The fire broke out on the top floor in the cockloft. The insulation inside the floor trapped heat, causing the flames to spread rapidly.
Video captured on Citizen shows heavy smoke that could be seen for miles.
Officials say two firefighters were hurt along with two other people.
