Threat made against schools in Carteret deemed not credible
The threat was that there could be a shooting today or tomorrow at either the high school or junior high school.

2ds agoA threat made on social media against schools in Carteret has been deemed not credible by the school district.
The threat stated that there could be a shooting on Thursday or Friday at either the high school or junior high school.
School officials immediately contacted police after the post was made.
Police say they spoke with a juvenile and determined it was safe to return to school.
