yesterdayOver 15,000 people attended the 31st annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Westchester Walk at Manhattanville University on Sunday.
Organizers said they expect to raise $900,000 for research, education and advocacy.
Breast cancer survivors and thrivers took park in the walk.
"It is a badge of honor because cancer tried, but I conquered," said 16-year survivor Marie Denise Barnes.
