The work of three artists is brought together in a new exhibit at the Norwalk Art Space.
"The Weight of Memories" evokes a feeling of nostalgia while questioning the reliability of the memories that shape us.
Together, the sculptures of artist Melissa Newman, the art of Paige Mostowy and the prints of Kimberly Klauss combine to ask the viewer to look back and perhaps examine their own past.
The exhibit is on view until the end of October and the artists will be hosting free workshops.
The Norwalk Art Space will be going all out on Oct. 9, with its Arts Bash fundraiser, when they will honor Melissa Newman.
The Norwalk Art Space Cafe is open Wednesday through Sunday with artisanal food and beverages, and the proceeds go back into the free community programs hosted at the Art Space.
