The post was captioned "we tried," but did not say exactly what caused the service to be shut down less than a week into its advertised two-week run.
The route had drawn criticism for skipping neighborhoods along its route, only running express from Domino Park to Prospect Park.
Some riders of that short-lived bus say they were not surprised the service shut down, noting it was spotty even during its brief run.

News 12 has reached out to City Hall for information on what prompted the shutdown and is waiting to hear back.
