One of Long Island's greatest summer festivals is underway!
The Feast of St. Rocco's is back for its 51st year in Glen Cove.
The festival kicked off last night and will continue tonight through the weekend.
The event is filled with Italian food, made the traditional way by some of the church's oldest members, affectionately known as 'The Nonnas.' You'll find everything homemade, from the pastas, the sausage and peppers and of course, the freshly baked desserts.
Newtown Shows is back with rides and midway games for people of all ages. Game credits cost $1 each and there is also the option to buy an unlimited ride wristband for $43.
Sunday will also include the annual Mass and procession, which begins at 10:15 a.m.
The event will take place tonight from 6 p.m. - 11 p.m., Saturday from 3 p.m. - 11 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
