Mist, fog, clouds, mild air, and even thunderstorms are set to impact NJ through the weekend

Unsettled conditions linger across the Garden State through early next week.

Cycles of rain showers will pass through the state over the next several days with varying conditions in between. Today's temperatures jump to nearly 70 degrees and can be warmer in some spots. Tonight's lows will be in the mid-50s with thunderstorms passing through the overnight. Storms tonight will create flooding for the morning commute and this can cause delays. The storms for Friday morning will taper by 9 a.m. and improve for the midday featuring some sun and calm conditions. It will be near 68 degrees on Friday afternoon.
Clouds and showers return for Saturday as it will be overcast with on and off light rain throughout the entire day. Highs near 57 degrees. Some showers can be moderate at times so plan accordingly to have the umbrella.
The pattern looks to continue into Sunday and early Monday morning before turning quiet, colder, and windy for Tuesday and Wednesday.
