Zion Martinez, of The Bronx, and Anthony Caballero, of Florida, are accused of firing multiple rounds on Feb. 11 near a McDonald's on Broadway, fatally striking Christopher Redding and injuring two other teens.
Norwich police arrested Martinez on March 4 for possession of a controlled substance. They contacted the NYPD and discovered there was an active warrant for Martinez’s arrest in connection to the shooting.
Caballero was taken into custody on Friday following a “large-scale arrest operation” involving “multiple law enforcement agencies” and charged with fugitive of justice and interfering with an officer, Norwich police say.
Martinez is being held on a $550,000 bond and Caballero on a $1 million bond.
The NYPD has not released the teens' charges in regard to the shooting as of Friday evening.
