State police say the teenage passenger who was thrown from a moped in New Canaan on Monday has died.
Police say 16-year-old Janese Mabel Espinoza, from New Haven, succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday.
The crash happened on Route 15 South Monday afternoon.
The collision is still under investigation.
