A 17-year-old e-scooter rider was seriously injured during a crash Friday in Clifton.

Police say the boy collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Madison Avenue and First Street just after 12 p.m.

He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement.

Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
