Police say a teen boy was assaulted during an attempted robbery in Gravesend.

Officers were called to 1684 W 6th St. just after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The 16-year-old boy was attacked by four people, according to the NYPD.

EMS took the teen to Coney Island Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Police say the group of would-be robbers ran from the scene, traveling northbound on West 6th Street.
