New tonight, the NYPD releasing new images of the three men they say are responsible for a shooting that grazed a 5-year-old girl. News 12's Natalie Hernandez is on Southern Boulevard with reaction from the community. Brazen bullets tearing through Southern Boulevard. A 5-year-old girl just standing outside grazed by the gunfire. None of this should have happened. All of this could have been avoided. Investigators hunting down the three men they say opened fire Wednesday around 5:25 in the evening outside 10:07 Southern Boulevard, a busy strip filled with business. I think they need to clean up this block here. I think there's a lot of activities that's going on that they need to clean up. Police say the three men pulled out guns and started shooting, striking the young girl on the right side of her head. She was rushed to Harlem Hospital and is expected to recover. The shooters then took off running. Neighbors in the area say the shooting is another painful reminder. How dangerous stray gun violence can be. The gun violence is too high. It's going crazy. They're dying younger and younger each day. Javier Medina, executive director of the Southern Boulevard Business Improvement District, says business owners and community members are on high alert, and the bid is working with leaders to make sure Bronx sites are safe. I took it personal because I am a grandfather of a 5 year old, and you know it's, it's hard. I can only imagine. What this mother is thinking or going through right now, so our prayers are with her. And tonight police are urging anyone who recognizes these men or has information about the shooting to give their Crime Stoppers hotline a call from the 41st precinct, Natalie Hernandez, News 12.

Police say they are still looking for two people involved.
