2h agoUniversity officials say a student found a swastika in one of the dorm bathrooms Friday.
The swastika was immediately removed by the school.
The university's chief security officer, Lawrence Zacarese, told News 12 that university police are actively investigating but do not have anyone in custody at this time.
If someone is caught, the penalties could include expulsion or suspension.
University officials say antisemitism and other forms of hate have no place at Stony Brook.
