Police are on the hunt for a man who they say burglarized a church last Friday night in Ulster County.

Police say the man forced his way into New Life Church in Saugerties and then stayed inside for hours. Investigators say he damaged property and stole money and a backpack.

Police urge anyone who may know his whereabouts to give them a call.
