A suspect was arrested Friday in connection with a pair of fatal stabbings that occurred in Island Park and Valley Stream.
Police say a woman was stabbed as she was taking out the trash around midnight at a Wendy’s on Austin Boulevard.
The same suspect went on to stab another victim around 3 a.m. in Valley Stream.
