Local leaders joined Community Board 7 to host a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday marking the official opening of the Sunset Park Greenway. The new transformative public space stretches along Third Avenue from Hamilton Avenue to 29th Street. Organizers say the project enhances pedestrian and cyclist safety, expands green space and strengthens connectivity across Sunset Park and neighboring communities.
