Westbound lanes on Sunrise Highway at Exit 53 have been reopened following a crash investigation, according to Suffolk County police.

Police say a pedestrian was struck Sunday by a motor vehicle in North Patchogue around 4:18 a.m.

The road was closed for several hours and reopened around 7:40 a.m.
