WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
The borough will see a comfortable and pleasant forecast for the first weekend of October. It will, however, feel more like August. Temperatures will be 10 degrees above average wise for much of the next five days.
Warm days full of sunshine are expected for the weekend and for the first half of next week. It really will be an ideal weekend for any and all outdoor activities.
Temperatures are in the upper 70s and low 80s through Wednesday when a cold front works its way through. This will bring more fall-like temperatures and the first opportunity for rain in a while. Until then, anticipate dry, sunny, warm, and delightful days.
The borough remains exceptionally dry with areas in drought conditions. Rain isn't expected until Wednesday, but even then, the borough will still need repeated and soaking rains to improve how dry it is. A burn ban remains in effect through Oct. 15.
