OVERNIGHT: The strong cold Canadian wind will continue into the night, making it feel 10 degrees colder than the actual temperature. Gusts have been up to 45 mph and will only slowly back off through the evening and overnight, still gusting up to 25 mph through the Wednesday morning commute.
WEDNESDAY: Feels-like temperatures will be on either side of 20 degrees out the door Wednesday morning, a true February feel in the middle of April. Actual low temperatures will be around 30 degrees, so a freeze warning has been issued for the entire borough and city. Make sure to bundle up with proper winter attire, including hats, scarves and gloves. There will be plenty of sun again on Wednesday, and temperatures will start to go up by the afternoon, approaching 50 degrees.
WARMING UP: The warming trend continues for the rest of the week, but rain does return Thursday night. Lots of clouds but a dry day is expected on Thursday.
MORE RAIN: A large storm will slowly push through the area starting Thursday night and last through at least Saturday afternoon. Rain will be on-and-off most of Friday and Saturday with a burst of heavier rain likely late Friday into early Saturday. Over an inch of rain total is possible and expect more updates getting closer to the storm. Travel conditions and outdoor activities will be impacted for the first half of the weekend. Improvements with warmer weather and some peeks of sun are likely on Sunday.
