        Fall-like temperatures make a comeback

        The dry stretch of weather persists for Connecticut.

        NOW: A cold front is on the way for tonight and this will bring temperatures down starting Thursday afternoon. Instead of highs in the 70s or even 80s, temperatures will be closer to normal with 60s. Another cold front is on the way for Saturday, and this will also drop temperatures for Sunday, but it also doesn't bring much moisture to the area. Rain chances look very minimal to non-existent now. The dry stretch of weather persists for Connecticut.
        Elevated fire weather concerns continue for Western Connecticut.
        NEXT: After a sharp cooldown for a few days, temperatures once again heat up. Highs in the 70s will make a comeback in about a week from now. Halloween next Wednesday could be quite warm.
        THURSDAY: Mostly sunny, breezy and cooler. High of 66.
        FRIDAY: Mostly sunny, seasonable. High of 62.
        SATURDAY: Partly sunny, slight risk of a shower. High of 66.
        SUNDAY: Sunny and much cooler. High of 56.
        MONDAY: Sunny and chilly. High of 53.
        TUESDAY: Mostly sunny. High of 64.
        WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, mild. High of 68.
