Summer Streets is set to return to New York City in all 5 boroughs and with new hours.
The Department of Transportation is opening more than 20 miles of Summer Streets corridors to pedestrians and cyclists for five Saturdays in July and August.
Summer Streets will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the following locations:
Queens: July 25, Vernon Boulevard, from 44th Drive to 30th Drive.
Staten Island: July 25, Broadway, from Richmond Terrace to Harvest Avenue.
Manhattan: August 1, 8 and 15, Brooklyn Bridge to Inwood at Broadway and Dyckman Street.
Bronx: August 22, Grand Concourse, from East Tremont Avenue to Mosholu Parkway
Brooklyn: August, 22, Eastern Parkway, from Grand Army Plaza to Buffalo Avenue
Last year, the DOT reported more than 500,000 people walked, ran, cycled and played on the Summer Streets route.
