Pearl Court in Sayville remains completely closed off this morning for an ongoing Suffolk County police investigation.

This morning, the dead-end street is blocked off by a patrol car and further down the road, the department has its mobile crime lab up and running.

Officials have released few details so far.

Police have only said that the initial call came in for a sick or injured person at a home around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Pearl Court is off Johnson Avenue just south of Sunrise Highway.

News 12 has asked Suffolk County police for more information and is waiting to hear back.

The investigation is ongoing.
